Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in our bodies. The older we get, the more the quantity and quality of HA decreases and the more it needs to be replenished from the outside. Hyaluronic acid is a substance that can bind water up to a thousand times its own weight. That's not a small amount at all!

How to choose?
Hyaluronic acid is divided into high molecular weight and low molecular weight. Simply put, it varies in size. High molecular weight is used primarily as a filler, in pharmacy or aesthetic surgery. Low-molecular weight is more important in cosmetics, because it can penetrate deeper into the skin layers thanks to smaller molecules, and so it can hydrate your skin there (and not only on the surface). Occasionally, high molecular weight is also used in cosmetics to protect the skin from the outside.
