About Us
We may be a small Czech family business, but for more than a decade we have been doing one thing with all our heart: bringing authentic Czech cosmetics to people all over the world.
Who we are
We are Martin and Petra, a husband-and-wife team from Ostrava, Czech Republic. Martin founded our first shop, CzechMovie, back in 2011 – today he runs and organises the whole business, designs our websites, and personally answers your messages and questions. Petra takes care of our product range: she hunts for the best Czech brands, picks new products for you, and writes the stories behind them on our blog.
Our story
It all started in 2011 with Czech films. Martin shipped our very first parcel – the iconic Czech movie My Sweet Little Village – to a customer in the United States. Soon, customers with Czech roots began asking for more than films: the creams, balms and make-up they remembered from home.
So in 2016 we opened a second shop dedicated purely to Czech cosmetics – Bohemian Beauty Care, known today as FabledLook. A year later our family business officially became Czech Goods s.r.o., and what began in our living room has grown into a store trusted by thousands of customers worldwide, with more than 1,800 authentic Czech and European products.
