Elmex Gelée – the 12,500 ppm amine-fluoride gel used once a week to remineralise enamel, prevent caries and calm sensitive teeth. There is no over-the-counter equivalent in the US. Curaprox Enzycal – Swiss enzyme toothpaste without SLS, in 950, 1450 and fluoride-free versions. Curaprox Perio Plus+ – chlorhexidine rinses with Citrox, the European standard after dental surgery. Lacalut Aktiv – German aluminium-lactate toothpaste for bleeding gums. Meridol – amine-fluoride gum care. Karex – German fluoride-free hydroxyapatite toothpaste.
